LTS Video and Intercom Integration

LTS’s intercom system supports up to 500 apartments, making it an ideal solution for easy management and integration with LTS security camera systems. The intercom system consists of an outdoor station with a 2MP camera where visitors can call in and get permission to enter the building.

The outdoor stations camera module has built in access control features that let tenants or management grant access to the premises remotely through LTS Connect App making it easy for deliveries when the tenant is not at home. The outdoor station also integrates into a DVR/NVR for backup recording of all visitors.

LTS Wifi Indoor Station

The indoor video stations is a 7″ wifi-enabled touch screen display with smart functions and capabilities. Tenants can view who is at the entrance and communicate with its built-in 2-way audio feature. The indoor station is also capable of viewing up to 16 IP cameras on the property and an optional video doorbell can be installed for each tenant. Access to the property cameras can be restricted to certain cameras (e.g. Lobby, Vestibule) and at the same time giving the tenant a feeling of security and inclusion.

Managing the properties

Integrating the cameras and intercom under one software gives the management a better sense of control and ease of use. If a delivery comes in or a tenant forgets there credentials or phone, property management can allow access through the CMS software after video verification with a click of a button.

Intelligent Video In Retail

Retail stores deal with many issues in their day to day operations, one of them being retail shrink. Retail shrink has only increased over the years. In 2019 alone there was an excess of $50 billion in losses. Electronic security plays a major role in reducing shrink most notably the installation of surveillance cameras and Public View Montitors (PVM’s) and the integration of these products with POS stations. Unit shrink was reduced by 107% from surveillance video alone. According to data provided by the Loss Prevention Resource Council, retail stores saw a Return On Investment in just under six months after installing a video surveillance system and within three years of installing a public view monitor. Shoppers and employees alike felt a peace of mind and comfort knowing security was in place. The future of video surveillance in retail in the coming years will be the implementation of AI Intelligent Video analytics and VSaaS. Some of these analytics include: people counting, foot traffic patterns, dwell time, POS integration, facial detection with benefits including:

  • How many customers are waiting in line, and how long on average they are waiting. This data can help a business determine if they need to hire more staff, or perhaps just add another employee on their busiest days.
  • Which of their retail locations see the greatest number of visitors and what date and time each person visited. By comparing this information with POS data, retailers can calculate conversion rates to learn if everyone who visited their business actually purchased something.
  • Which employees sell the most of which products, to evaluate promotional success and reward high-performing associates.
  • “Tagging” this video data for future reference.

In 2020 there will be a big change in how video surveillance will take part in the Retail vertical. We understand Loss Prevention is a critical part of retail business success. Let us help you tailor a security solution specific to your needs to optimize store operations.

AI Deep Learning

LTS has introduced its first cameras with built in Artificial Intelligence. It’s capabilities in detecting vehicles and people have improved significantly because of it’s deep learning capabilities. Searching through video for accurate and important events has improved, saving customers hours of time trying to find crucial video evidence. Traditional motion detection was based off the change in pixels in an image but that gave false alarms due to animals, trees or shadows. Deep learning algorithms solve this problem by feeding the camera data and analyzing that data to accurately identify humans and vehicles.

Color 24/7

Hikvision’s and it’s OEM’s ColorVu 24/7 color cameras come from two specific breakthroughs in hardware technologies: advanced lenses and high-sensitivity sensors. Traditionally in low light environments the IR cut-off filter will produce a black and white image which isn’t always helpful in investigative discovery. The video evidence of the suspects might or might not show a clear facial image but it surely won’t show the suspects clothing color or color of the vehicle they were driving and other helpful hints to lead to a criminals capture. With ColorVu technology you can still capture valuable color information. Call us today for an estimate!
